Our W.O.W. Team is comprised of dedicated community leaders, educators, and influencers in the areas of art, government, community development and social change. We are dedicated to carrying the vision and mission of W.O.W.
Founder / Executive Director
Melissa is the Founder and Executive Director of Writing Our Wrongs, Inc., a non-profit 501(C)(3) organization with the mission to empower youth to activate their voice through writing and speech. Through W.O.W., Melissa educates youth in writing development workshops and implements public speaking coaching and development. She is passionate about activating the voice of this generation and helping them tap into the power of the pen. Her philanthropy stretches far and wide as a board member of numerous non-profit organizations and as organizer of successful non-profit fundraiser initiatives. Not only does her experience stem from work within her own non-profit, she utilizes her 14 year career in sales & marketing to consult non-profit and faith based organizations in the areas of branding and market strategies. She is also the founder and Principle Life Coach & Consultant of The Activation Hour, LLC, a full service sales and marketing consulting firm, and Host of the Activation Hour Radio Show. She is a proud alum of Valdosta State University and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Shorter University. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and National Women of Achievement Mid-Town Atlanta Chapter and the NAACP Atlanta Chapter.
She is an avid reader, world traveler and her super power is red lipstick, high heels and a huge heart for others!
Vice President / Director of Programming
Stephanie has always been an overachiever, and operates as a talented nonprofit administrator.
She pursued a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education, Business Management and Entrepreneurial Management. She then pursued a Master’s degree in Human Services with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She became the Executive Director of a Youth Leadership non-profit. She is also an Internationally Certified Life Coach specializing in assisting student athletes and the under served in the community. She is the Founder of 7 Crowns Enterprises, LLC, which includes Blueprint Business Concierge Services and Upgrade Your Good Coaching.
Currently she serves on two national boards (Writing Our Wrongs and The Touchdown Club of Atlanta). She also serves in the position of Community Engagement Specialist for GIRLIE (Girls Illustrating Real Lady-Like Influence Everywhere) an all-girls mentoring program in the metro Atlanta area.
Stephanie has been married to Mr. Floyd Wallace for the past 14 years. They have worked with youth for their entire relationship so they consider themselves lucky to have a multitude of children through their work in the community.
Secretary / Director of Marketing & Communications
Realenn is a native of Lithonia, Georgia, a Chamblee High School graduate and earned her sociology undergraduate degree from The University of Georgia in December 2004. Before joining the UGA Alumni Association in 2007, Realenn worked in the Office of the Grand Boulé of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity.
As an Associate Director of Outreach, she enjoys working with the Alumni Association’s Black Alumni affinity group, alumni corporate chapters, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Institutional Diversity. She also provides support for all of the Office of Alumni Relations’ signature programs.
Realenn enjoys learning and earned her CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) from the Convention Industry Council, as well as a UGA Diversity and Inclusion Certificate. She is a lifelong active member of Headland Heights United Methodist Church in East Point, Georgia. In her spare time, she is a member of Ujamaa Investments Club, Page Turners Book Club, and President Elect of the National Women of Achievement-MidTown Atlanta Chapter and National Secretary of the NWOA National Executive Board. She also loves watching documentaries, being exposed to new music, spending time with family and long naps!
Treasurer / Director of Finance
Towauna “Maombi” Fisher is a pillar in the community. An alum of the United Way Volunteer Involvement Program (VIP), she is trained to immediately fulfill higher leadership roles and responsibilities. She enjoyed living a life of service as a communitarian and game changer making lives better for all she serves. She is a Veteran of the United States Army with many tours stateside and abroad. She is a proven advocate and voice serving on Colgate’s Oral Health Advisory and VIP Ambassador for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society/ She is the grassroots advocate for the cancer community through her non-profit, The Oaks of Righteousness Cancer Foundation.
She is a ray of light and committed volunteer for organizations concerning the welfare of children and cancer patients.
